Marc Trembley, owner and director of Canyoning-Québec, greeted us with a resounding ‘bonjour’ and a big grin perfectly depicting his friendly and energetic personality. Spend the day with Marc, like we did, and it won’t be hard to understand why he was awarded ‘Guide of the Year’ from the Quebec Association of Guides in 2007. It’s a deserving testament to the effort and attention to detail that he puts into the tours he offers customers from Quebec, Canada and around the world.
The sun was beaming out of a clear blue sky as we suited up into our gear for an
afternoon of canyoning. Feeling some jitters at the prospect of climbing down steep rock walls and waterfalls Marc assured us that he’s never had a customer who didn’t have a fabulous and unforgettable afternoon. And he was right. We had a ball! With expert guidance from Marc and his assistant we felt comfortable and safe the whole time. With the adrenaline rushing through us we whooped and cheered with excitement as we lowered ourselves over the edge and down the cliff face. Even through our intense focus we were still able to enjoy the extreme beauty all around us; the spray from the waterfall, the thick forest and blue canopy above us.
When we finally made it to the bottom of the canyon and hiked out of the forest path and back to the lodge, we were sad the afternoon had come to an end. But there was no rest for the guide of the year as Marc’s next group was already there waiting for him and all set for their afternoon of excitement.
It’s what happens when you offer a fantastic activity in a stunning location. Get to Quebec and give Marc a call. (info@canyoning-quebec.com)… You’ll be glad you did!

Hi gang! Great videos and article. Love it, was nice to have you with us. I have two little things to comment if you may do the corrections. The right spelling is Marc Tremblay…
and Canyoning-Québec is easier to find with an hyphen. Thank’s if you put the weblink. Continue your excellent work.
I’m on report in Ravenna, Italy, right now. Cheers!
