When the GCAT crew arrived, at the beautiful Kalamalka Lake in Vernon, British Columbia, the competition was all ready to begin. Because the day was as much about having fun, as it was about the huge fame and fortune to be bestowed on the winner, Chris decided to grab a dog and a board, and join the fun.
The sun was shining and everyone was in a good mood – including the dogs.
As the competition got under way, everyone worked off their nerves with a few minutes of free paddling near the shore. Then came the intense competition!
The competitors were ready, the dogs were focused, and the crowd was excited. Each of the 4 competitors went through their moves. Some of the dogs stood up, some sat, some wandered around the board and some did absolutely nothing.
In the end it was a tight race and the judges couldn’t decide on a winner. The winning tandem of dog and paddler will have to be decided by all of You, the CGAT voting public!
