Our incredible journey across this magnificent country kicked of in the city of Halifax on the east coast of the country in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia! It is a gem of a province jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean and nearly everywhere you go you get a sense of it’s nautical character. No destination in Nova Scotia is more than 67 km (42 mi) from the ocean and there are hundreds of bays and inlets everywhere up and down the coastline including the bustling Halifax Harbor in the provinces capitol city.
