As the sun set on our final day we were sad to see our stay on the Gentle Island coming to an end. But we did know that we had one final treat waiting for us the next morning; the drive across the famous Confederation Bridge that connects the island to Nova Scotia. At 15 kilometers in length it’s one of the longest bridges over ice-covered waters and an engineering wonder. It was a fine way to end a fabulous stay in PEI.
